Liz Gavin
Liz Gavin is a Licensed Acupuncturist and board certified Herbalist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned her Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. Before pursuing a career in Chinese medicine, Liz studied special education at the University of Kentucky where her love of working with children and helping others grew.
Liz provides her clients with custom treatments tailored to their specific needs. She uses a combination of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na (Chinese massage), moxibustion and meditation training to make sure every patient gets the most out of each treatment. Her specialties include pain disorders (back pain, joint pain/immobility, headaches, etc.) sports injuries, stress and anxiety, digestive complaints, as well as women's health, gynecology and fertility.
Liz was born and raised in Northbrook. She now lives in Glenview with her husband Jack, her daughter Elle, and their husky, Bo.
